This is Conqueror from our new album NINE. Stream/download the single now https://lnk.to/Dreadzone-Conqueror
This was the first tune written for the new record. It’s an energetic, old skool rave flavoured dub with heavy bass featuring a classic Earl and Spee twin vocal.

NINE is a reflection of the last 5 years and a culmination of growing and re-inventing the Dread sound. After celebrating our 30-year anniversary in 2023, Nine welcomes the next phase of Dread with nine songs about redemption and division, love and loss and journeys inside, and around the earth.

The album treads into new territories but still connects with the ambience of early Dreadzone albums. In addition to Earl 16 and MC Spee, NINE features guest vocals from LSK (Faithless), Cheshire Cat (Leftfield) and Zoe Devlin (Alabama 3).

We are teaming up with our friends The Orb for the first time ever to play co-headline shows in April & May! We will both play an hour set each night with either Greg Dread or Alex Paterson opening with a DJ set.

The Orb were one of our biggest inspirations at the start of Dreadzone. They represented a new way forward in music and we were fortunate enough to play our second only show with them at their legendary Trekroner festival show in Copenhagen.

Really looking forward to these shows. Tickets on general sale this Friday 02 February at 10am

Dreadzone member Bazil steps into the spotlight with his own debut album ‘Sub Liminal’ featuring a collaboration with Dreadzone and vocals from Earl 16, MC Spee & Izness. The album is coming out via Dubwiser Records on 30 June

With influences from Digital, Breakage, Calibre, Leftfield and Massive Attack, this album brings nostalgia from the post rave era with an edge of dubby darkness

Really happy to finally share the whole 12 track album with you. Huge thanks to everyone who has contributed to the album and to everyone who has bought a copy so far. Following on from Volume One, this edition takes the sound in a tougher, more dance-oriented direction whilst expanding the song vocabulary, reflecting flavours from past dread times.

Collaborations, remixes and artists own tracks make for a stellar line up including Emily Capell, Gaudi, Professor Skank, Bazil, Sub Mantra, Dubmatix and Dreadzone.

The album is out now on 2CD plus Double Black, Claret, Marigold Yellow or Green Vinyl
