We are teaming up with our friends The Orb for the first time ever to play co-headline shows in April & May! We will both play an hour set each night with either Greg Dread or Alex Paterson opening with a DJ set.
The Orb were one of our biggest inspirations at the start of Dreadzone. They represented a new way forward in music and we were fortunate enough to play our second only show with them at their legendary Trekroner festival show in Copenhagen.
Really looking forward to these shows. Tickets on general sale this Friday 02 February at 10am
Our debut album 360° has been remastered and will be reissued by Dubwiser Records on vinyl – 30 years after it’s original release in 1993. The re-issue will be on Double Heavyweight Coloured Vinyl with the original artwork and sleeve notes plus each Limited Edition copy will be Hand Numbered.
Playing at some of our favourites venues around the country, our 2023 shows will explore different aspects of our history and delve into our back catalogue. Greg Dread will play a DJ set to open at all the Autumn shows.
Dreadzone member Bazil steps into the spotlight with his own debut album ‘Sub Liminal’ featuring a collaboration with Dreadzone and vocals from Earl 16, MC Spee & Izness. The album is coming out via Dubwiser Records on 30 June
Really happy to finally share the whole 12 track album with you. Huge thanks to everyone who has contributed to the album and to everyone who has bought a copy so far. Following on from Volume One, this edition takes the sound in a tougher, more dance-oriented direction whilst expanding the song vocabulary, reflecting flavours from past dread times.
Collaborations, remixes and artists own tracks make for a stellar line up including Emily Capell, Gaudi, Professor Skank, Bazil, Sub Mantra, Dubmatix and Dreadzone.
The album is out now on 2CD plus Double Black, Claret, Marigold Yellow or Green Vinyl
Also available in Limited Edition Green Vinyl (Selecter Indies) and Marigold Vinyl (Record Store)
The second instalment in the compilation series of the wider Dreadzone fold will be released on 08 April 2022. This edition strikes a darker contrast with the sunnier aspects of Volume One. Greg Dread’s online live sessions over the 18 months of lockdowns brought about a positive energy from all the people tuning in to the music. They became the inspiration for this album which grew out of that time. Collaborations, remixes and artists own tracks make for a stellar line up on Volume Two – Megative, Emily Capell, Italian dub maestro Gaudi, Professor Skank, Bazil, Sub Mantra, Dubmatix and Dreadzone all feature on this more eclectic edition of Dubwiser.
